A composite bulk sample using over 1,200 drilling sample intervals representing the ‘Central’ project area was prepared and processed using pilot scale separation equipment. The resulting information was then used to delineate various sections of a preliminary metallurgical process flowsheet. The drilling samples used in the composite were chosen based on a 2% ilmenite down hole average grade cut-off reflecting the proposed mining methodology. The final mineral products produced from that bulk testing program have been analysed and are indicative of those that could be produced from an operating mine.
